TDMA Frame Sync BER Threshold

Selects the maximum allowable TDMA (time division multiple access) BER (bit error rate) tolerated by a radio on an X2 or Phase 2 TDMA voice channel. The TDMA BER is calculated during the frame sync portion of a TDMA voice transmission. If a BER greater than this maximum is detected, the radio attempts to switch to a better site when available. This selection applies for the current Trunking System.

When the System Type field is set to "ASTRO 25",

And

(when the Phase 2 Voice Capable field is "Enabled", or

when the X2 Voice Capable field is "Enabled"),

And

when the radio is model / option capable.
